What Verse 1 is showing us

One devotional arc: Lord Vishnu is named as the whole universe (Vishvam), the presence pervading it (Vishnuh), and the sacred purpose behind our offerings (Vashatkarah). The verse then turns to time, creation, support, being, the inner Self, and the force that helps life flourish. It is an invitation to meet the divine not only in a temple, but in time, work, life, and the heart.
